What is up, they drop their native american mascot to become PC and the train is leaving the rails. Seems like they just fired coaches from some other sports for something and I think they sacked the AD and President in the not too distant past.

Growing up in central Illinois, It really sucks seeing the university athletic department falling. It needs a huge overhaul. I know it's not a typical dominate sports program but it's definitely in the toilet. Would not be suprised to see the men's basketball coach Groce be fired next.

I became a Razorback fan during the downfall of the Petrino scandal. As all of you lifetime fans be very thankful for the support of the fans, donors and historical success that you've had. I wish the University of Illinois had the fire and drive that Arkansas and the SEC has going.

It's truly a very disgusting state that the State of Illinois is in as well. From debt, politics and agenda of public school and higher education are in. I'm getting out of the military soon and the only reason why I am moving back is for the educational benefits that the Illinois VA offers. If not I would be moving to NWA and attend the U of A.

Illinois is one of those programs you just have to shake your head at. They should be a legitimate sports powerhouse across the board but they aren't.

Also, to our Marine recruiter, where did you grow up? I have a friend from around Beardstown (if I spelled that right).
