Pretty much my thoughts. We already HAVE gun laws in the country and the criminals don't follow them as is. They'll continue to not follow them later, only honest people like us wont have the ability to protect ourselves/family.

It's a total liberal talking point and it's par for the course. Look at and point at the obvious problem while offering no real solution other than "change".
