Kudos?? If I saw that I'd be running for my life. Leave it to cops to carry guns around. Nobody in civilian clothes should be carrying an assault rifle around in this situation.

And why is that? There's uniformed campus PD/security right behind her. A rife like that is the best tool for dealing with an active shooter if any threat did exist.
Would I be more cautious if I saw her walking around with an AR? Yea. Would I run away? No that'd just cause more panic especially if she's one of the good guys.
Now if she's alone and I've heard gunshots and she's not in a uniform then yea I'm taking cover until I can figure out what she's doing.
