Coming from a guy who's team has struggled to make a bowl game for the last 7 years. Tennessee has managed to have their best season ending record 7-5 one time and made a total of 3 bowl games.

It took the worst down period in our history for UGA to even the series.

You were not even alive the last time UGA won a national championship. Go find your crayons and sippy cup.

I couldn't possibly care any less about some random list.

See? That's the way you're supposed to use that expression.

The phrase "I couldn’t care less" originated in Britain and made its way to the United States in the 1950s. The phrase "I could care less" appeared in the US about a decade later. In the early 1990s, the well-known Harvard professor and language writer Stephen Pinker argued that the way most people say could care less—the way they emphasize the words—implies they are being ironic or sarcastic. - See more at: LINK

Apparently the sarcasm went over your head.

Even people from Harvard can be wrong.

People who say "I could care less" aren't being ironic, they just don't know wtf they are saying. Ignorant and illiterate trash like yourself say it.

People who think about the words that come out of their mouths say "I couldn't care less".

Until you are capable of thinking about what you type you should refrain from polluting the world with your ignorance.

Lets see. Take language advice from some random person from Arkansas or a well known language professor from Harvard. I think I will choose the latter.

From your own link:

"Other linguists have argued that the type of sound at the end of "couldn’t" is naturally dropped by sloppy or slurring speakers."

However if you want to be technical about it both are grammatically correct because they are both idioms and the usage of both are explained in many pieces of literature and by many English and language professors. Usually the only people who have a problem with that phase are British. Ok, well have a problem with them adding R's to the end of every word that ends with an A.

I didn't say there were not language professors that did not like the term. Both are grammatically correct. They just prefer not to use the term. Ok so don't. There are also professors and linguist that use the term and see nothing wrong with the use of the term. Either way the argument is pointless.
