Absolutely horrible. only upside is one more game in Tennessee for recruiting. Even that's a stretch.

Just spitballing and trying to think of possible reasons why this is a theme:
Maybe Pinkel himself likes these road matchups against lower-tier schools. Expose the team to a road environment without playing a team that is too competitive so they have the road routine down for conference play. Gives newcomers a taste of playing in "hostile" territory against a lesser team so their first away game at UGa, UT, USCe, etc in front of 80k+ people doesn't overwhelm them.
Just speculating and hypothesizing, because I don't understand it either.

These games are why we have become a good road team in conference play. Embrace it.
