You know, shitting their pants and tackling their own teammates and whatnot. Will it happen this season or will Auburn fans have to be patient?

A spinoff troll thread to the Old Sarge troll thread? I can't even decide which one is worse. This may be the longest off-season yet...

Sure wish folks would stop posting about Muschamp. We Florida fans are depserately trying to forget about that mongoloid loser and how he gutted our program.

Everytime I think of him on our sidelines it makes want to go away to a dark corner with a bottle liquor and pills and cry myself to sleep.

Either of you bitches want to make a ban bet on the AU - Arky game? Although, your pussy fan base has not been known to honor their word on such matters.

Well dipshite since that happened on offense and seeing he doesn't coach offense at Auburn I am pretty sure your thread is a FAIL!!! But you know what his defense did to your Razorbacks a few years ago. Auburn will be top 10 within 2 years on defense.

In a legit attempt to answer:

It depends.

Part of the original issue was how the HC approached defense. A lot of blame, some rightfully so, falls upon the DC; however, it was fairly clear that defense was considered more of the redheaded stepchild. Malzahn appears, at least, to have learned that you can't expect to simply out gun every team out there.

IF he has, then I say give it at least a year. There's weakness in several key positions and poor techniques that have to be completely retrained. It might take 2, but I think 1 should be sufficient.

IF Malzahn has not, and is simply giving lip service to it all - then never. You can hire the greatest DC ever and it won't matter if the HC doesn't have SOME level of buy-in.
