The pledge from Higgins gives Tennessee two huge commitments in the last two days for the 2017 class. He joins the nation's top-ranked quarterback in his class, Hunter Johnson, and he is pumped for the future. Johnson told VolQuest.com Sunday night on 'The Nation' that he already had reached out to Higgins.

"They have the No. 1 quarterback in my class," Higgins said. "I think we can have a great bond. I love the offense they run and we can start things off from there. He DM'd me on twitter and he said he and I can get this 2017 class started and I think we are doing that."

Tennessee head coach Butch Jones continues to wow everyone on the recruiting trail and Higgins is a firm believer in the top Vol.

"That man is great," Higgins said. "He's a great man and great coach. I can't wait to play for him. They use their wide receivers in different places. They get them the ball and they know how to put them in position to be successful.
