I'm not saying we win the game, but a few things are hard for me to discount. I don't think you are going to stop us from scoring, Dak has more weapons this year than last, the offense will be hard to slow down. I have a hard time seeing you guys keep up if we are scoring effectively. Lastly, Dak is potent when healthy, and while early in the season may be the best time to catch our defense, it is by far the worst time to catch our offense. Mullen's offense really has shown a trend to fall off a little as the season progresses, but it's dangerous when clicking.

It really depends on how Les game plans. If he tries to wear down our D Line and rely on the defense like I suspect he will, he is playing with fire. That investment only works if you keep Dak off the field, which is hard to do unless you're giving up big plays, which obviously is just as bad.

I'm not saying these opinions are correct, but that's the way I see it right now. I can see it going either way, but that's honestly just because I am 26 and sadly haven't grown to expect a win against LSU.

ETA: I think LSU will be very good this year. But I do like when and where we play. Our offense is a tough one to break in a new DC on. Really excited because it's going to be a season defining game one way or the other.
