If this were true, the previous SEC champions would look like:

2014 State
2013 UGA or LSU
2012 UGA or A&M
2011 Bama
2010 Arky (if they still had Mallett, I can't remember)


It's all about a great defense with a physical, time management offense. Hence why the SEC champ is probably going to be Bama, LSU, or Arkansas

2010 I believe mallet was there but.. Cam Newton was also at AU. Unless you'd pick mallet over Newton and youd be one of the few. But Mallet was pretty efficient as well.

I even doubt it's a homer pick to say Newton >>> Mallett
