I'm with WG and Dawglife here too. I'm a Southern Baptist that believes the only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ and that baptism is an outward showing of you step of faith. Being sprinkled and baptised as a child doesn't mean you are saved that would go against what the NT emphatically says. I could get into a long schpeil about all the reason Baptists broke away but I'll leave it short and simple protestants other than Catholics, don't believe sprinkling saves you it just means the church will have its hand on you and hope you choose Christ one day. It's a non essential to all those others they will say in their doctrine that the only way to heaven is thru Christ. Examples of these would be Lutherans, Presbyterians, methodists, and other forms of Baptist. Catholicism is a whole other topic in and of itself.

We had a Catholic coach for 25 years...would you have a problem had he appointed a priest team chaplin?
