Already lots of good AU info above...I would add only this. Those that have said that that it will take a couple of years for the new D to really take hold and improve, are mistaken. This defense is going to be dramatically better. From bottom 3 to top 4 in the SEC. It's hard to imagine Gus not putting a quality offensive product on the field on the other side of the ball...and if so, watch out.

QB is an unknown. Barnett has gotten a lot of praise but he's a true freshman. Coker is obviously a bust so Cornwell may get he job by default.
Defense will be comparable to the 2011 unit, I think. You won't recognize our secondary this year, from all accounts they have finally put it all together.
And the hype on Minkah Fitzpatrick is unreal. I can't remember the last DB that Saban has gone out of his way to praise as much as he has with Minkah.

you really think Auburn will have a top 4 defense in the conference? How/why?
