I was watching on the SEC network an interview with Pinkel, Sabban, Freeze, Richt and Miles. I found myself wondering...Let's say Richt, Davis or Miles got fired and that school went hard after Pinkel.

Do you believe Pinkel would win the NC at one of those schools? I believe Pinkel deserves the attention that a big time program would bring, and he would have top 10 recruiting classes year end year out, but I'm not sold on his personality being a good match for those fans. But none of that matters on Saturdays. I think if he's at UGA or LSU, he's in the playoff within 3 years. Any thoughts?

Yes I do, I do believe he goes, if this was 2012 and past.

Depends on if he has a stocked cupboard of top talent when he arrives or not. To me Pinkel is a good coach but he has a lot of negatives in my eyes that may hurt him at bigger programs.

To be a great coach on the college level you have to be an excellent recruiter as well as a talent developer. At some schools the name sells itself but you still have to be part salesman when you are in contention for high end 4 and 5 star talent. I don't think he can compete with a Meyer or Saban over the long haul to consistently bring in the talent needed to compete against those type of teams.

Another thing I see holding him back is his hesitancy in playing true freshman. One question I ask myself is would Ezekiel Elliot or Roderick Johnson have the same impact they are having at their respective schools if they decided to come to mizzou?
