This is a really homer response, but if Marcus Lattimore had stayed healthy he could have been in that pantheon. Dude was pretty much unstoppable his sophomore year before his first knee injury.
1st team all SEC his freshman year, SEC Freshman of the year, Natl. Fresh of the year.
