Darren McFadden would have smashed every record for the RB position had he stayed four years. There would be no discussion. He had 4500 yards in 3 years

Darren McFadden:

Att-785 Yards-4590 Avg-5.8 TD-41

Arkansas record 2005-2007: 22-16.

He had no Heisman, no SEC championships, and no National championships.


VS


Herschel Walker:

Att-994 Yards-5259 Avg-5.3 TD-49

UGA record 1980-1982: 33-3

He had a Heisman, 3 SEC championships, and a national championship.


What you meant to say, was if HW had stayed, there would NEVER be a player that could beat any of his records...

People seem to forget that Walker went to the USFL after his Junior year. They believe that players back then all stayed 4 years because of the NFL policy but the USFL provided them a way around it.
