Nowhere have I ever felt less welcome as a minority as that campus. And that includes living in the state of Mississippi for a couple of years.

Have you been to Baylor? If I was a person of color I wouldn't step foot in Waco city limits, never-mind BU.

My dad worked for Baylor while we lived in the Waco area in high school, and I have a sister who is a sophomore there now
But yeah there are some weird race things in random pockets around TX, especially central Texas. I'm in NO hurry to go back there either other than to visit my sis.

Austin has your typical liberal racism where they want to feel good about themselves because they're supporting minorities and look how great we are because of it, but they want you to be doing well a safe distance away from them and their local Whole Foods.

Austin is the fakest piece of shite city in the United States, and that's coming from a liberal. God damn I hate everything about that place. Worst 2 years of my life were spent living in Austin right after college.

The liberals in Austin are posers for the most part. Try-hards.
It's kind of comical from the outside looking in.

I 100% agree with this. Outside of TexAgs or here everybody calls BS if I say something like that. The city has institutional racism and gets away with it because it's a liberal town.
On the other hand, I have been completely surprised by race relations just 40 miles north in Temple. I'm sure there's issues there that I'm blind to, but I've never been apart of such a homogenous community that doesn't seem to have any sort of divide.
Never noticed it in Waco, but I don't spend much time there.

Maybe I've just been around the wrong crowd in Waco, but I've heard some straight evil shite come from the mouth of BU students, I dunno.
Austin is also the most segregated city I've ever seen. Just wander from Westlake to downtown and out to east Austin and see if you notice any differences.

Maybe. I have quite a few Baylor friends from Temple, but they're all Lilly white. I guess it's never come up. Again, I don't spend much time there. If I do it's just to go to Twin Peaks.
It is. And what's nuts is that it's blatantly by design from the city.

They're an odd, jekyll and Hyde lot in general, tbh

Eh, Northeast Mississippians... say near Oxford , would hang you. Texans will drag you behind a truck until your body parts start flying off.
Your choice.

That's a cryin' shame. Well, it's a cryin' shame we don't have the postgame Augie remarks.

They are seriously terrible at baseball this year. I don't understand how that possibly happens. Probably a top 3 baseball program historically, maybe better, in the middle of an absolute sea of prep baseball talent. Augie must have just given up
The Big 12 is an absolute joke this year also so they may legitimately finish 4th or 5th in the conference. Ok State Tech and TCU are the only teams they will get in

They have been very up and down in baseball. Over the last 10 years they have 3 CWS appearances including finishing runner up one year. But during that time they missed postseason play twice (one last place in B12) and then failed to make it out of regional play three times.
