I didn't want him because I truly believe he couldn't replicate the success he has at LSU. Obviously LSU gets great talent and I believe that is why he wins there, not his coaching.

I don't care why he wins, only that he does. If he gets good talent, call him Bobby Bowden and enjoy being elite.

The bottom line is whether you wanted him or not is immaterial. The top hog tried to get him, but Arkansas didn't have what it takes to get a coach on that level so they went to tier 2 and got a really nice coach as their alternative.

The Top Hog never really went after Miles. They floated the name out there. The Arkansas media speculated. Nobody from Tulsa or OKC reported it. Chris Lincoln and Dean Blevins always scoop the Razorback coaches searches.

if it's so immaterial then stfu about it- you've mentioned it at least 15 times in the past few weeks.

i personally can't imagine any sec fan wanting les at their school outside of the remaining loyal lsu fans clinging on with dear life and maybe vandy and ky.

Jeff Long helped his buddy Les Miles get a raise and in-turn had a rival lock up a coach that he thinks we can beat.

Long did not want Les and made a better hire.
