Everyone on that stage was a joke.

Trump was the only funny joke. I have no desire to vote for any of them.
Also, every right wing loon I've ever had to deal with has been a rabid Paul fan... That tells me all I need to know.

So who is your candidate? If there's no one running that you'd support who would be your hypothetical ideal candidate?

All of the right wing nuts that I see want to vote for Trump or one of the religious loons. My SO deals with just as many loons as you do, if not more, and he hasn't seen any Paul voters in that demographic.
I suspect that you don't like Paul because he isn't big government and your job relies on big government.
