Apparently you just started watching college football this year, so I'm going to explain a few things for you. First, a coach with three seasons under his belt and a .578 win pct is not, by any stretch of the imagination, a proven commodity. If you'd REALLY rather that than a guy with over 180 games under his belt (a +.720 win pct), a national championship, and multiple SEC championships, then you need to be fitted for a helmet.
Also, when Les has quarterbacks he can trust his offenses are among the most efficient in the conference (see 2006, 2007, and 2013).
Now don't get your jorts all in a twist because it will be 3-4 years (at least) until you're relevant again.
