I have a hard time believing more people travel to Charleston, SC than Orlando or LA

No, it's based off reviews from one website. If it was based on number of travelers, many of these places wouldn't be on the list.

Edit: I guess if you just consider them as travel destinations rather than tourist destinations, then maybe the list has merit.

Oh really?? Wow I would have never guessed that Charleston and Savannah receive more visitors than LA and Atlanta...
