Not to mention, someone had to knock out Chris Weinke and the Noles because no one else could.

October 7, 2000: #7 Miami 27, #1 Florida State 24

That same Miami team won 9 straight to close out the season by an average of 29 points.

The same Miami team that beat Florida in the Sugar Bowl.

There is no justifiable metric that should have put Florida State in the National Title game over Miami that year.

Before you make stupid claims, do your homework.

And as far as the 2000 A&M/Oklahoma game, it wasn't the Torrance Marshall interception (in which an Oklahoma defender illegally blocked Mark Farris in front of the ref at the 20 yard line), nor the illegal block/personal foul that wasn't called which knocked Jason Glenn out of the game that clinched it. It was R.C. Slocum's absolute refusal to put Ja'Mar Toombs into the game during any of the plays of A&M's final goal-line series, which started 1st and goal from the Oklahoma 8.

Yep. The analysts said that A&M had the best defensive scheme to shut down Josh Hypal (or whatever his name is). They all agreed that we effectively shut him down.

So, yeah. The big 12 was interested in getting ou the NC. There were obvious blown calls. It was the start of a decade of t.u. and Okie cocksmoking each other, and trying to keep the talent away from A&M and Nebraska (the two best prograns when the big 12 was formed). Those two "rivals" jacked each other off at A&M/NU's expense for a solid decade.

NU got fed up with the t.u. power plays to keep them magenalized and took an offer from the B1G. But the real threat to the RRR complex is Daddy A&M, and those fricking cocksuckers from both schools know it.

Nobody bitched, moaned, or had their bitch lap-dog Baylor threaten any lawsuits when NU left. Both were quite content letting both NU and CU leave. But, when Daddy A&M even threatened to go to the SEC alone, all hell broke lose.

That says it all right there, folks.

The 100-year decision changed the landscape forever and sips/dirt buglars know it.

How does that Aggy arse taste?
