If ties were still allowed, you think that could happen today? Alabama didn't even face a ranked team in the regular season.
edit: I think the AP only ranked 10 teams in '65, so that might explain why Alabama didn't face one. However, Arkansas faced 2 in Texas and Texas Tech.
