Yeah, I'm with you, Sarge. Beautiful family, healthy and happy. Professionally engaged at an all-time high. Headed to Rosemary Beach in the morning, school starts for the kids the day after we get back.

I'm catsitting for my bff and his wife. Always kinda cool staying in someone else's place, sorta feels like you're on vacation. Or at least it feels like you're doing "something". Instead of getting drunk in my living room I'm getting drunk in someone else's living room.

I'm 21 so currently thinking "wtf am I going to do with my life". Other than that, all good. Currently watching "Catching hell" on ESPN. Good stuff.

My middle boy (12) is in San Antonio with my dad at some Japanese comic/gaming/anime convention (yeah, he's a total nerd). Mrs. Tantal and I have done significant damage to a bottle of Tito's and she and my 15 year old daughter are singing karaoke to Pitch Perfect 2 quite loudly in the living room. To be honest, I've got no complaints.

Sarge, I'm a recovering heroin addict and I lost my house, my cars , my t.v. and my oldest child. I still wake up thankful for what little I do have. Life is what you make it.
