Belgian food is outstanding. So is Hungarian food. I travel in Europe regularly. I have heard it said that the Belgians fulfill the promise made by the French regarding cuisine. Plus 300 (at least) local hand crafted beers that are fricking outstanding.

I have Croat in-laws. Their food is incredible, though most have never even had it.
