I'd drop Arkansas to like 12th. Their roster just got arrested. Literally

There's good reason to think A&M is higher than 5. All the key prices back from a decent team last year, plus our best recruiting class ever. Given our mostly dismal basketball history, it's fair to demand that we prove it first. Still, I'm excited.

what the hell man.
I wonder if people covering basketball even do research on all 14 teams or just look at last year's standings and go from there?
We were a really solid team last year. But the glue, the senior rock that held us together is gone. True our backcourt will be stacked. We have 3 pretty good/really good/almost great (for UGA standards) guys coming back from last year, and added 2 more through recruiting.
Center should be ok, as we got the former MI POY some action last year as a TFR, so he should be serviceable.
But we have nobody at 4. Like, we're either throwing a freshman out there that's never played (and we aren't Kentucky, so that is going to be a problem) or go with a guy who does have experience that isn't any good.
I'm not saying we'll be terrible, but 3rd best in the league? I don't know. I would put a great deal of money on us finishing lower than 3rd in the standings.
