Depending on who posts...the narrative is always the defense/offense is great becaue of the OC, DC, HC....because of the style of offense/defense being run, etc.

In truth they all play a part. Even if Auburn had not gotten Muschamp you would see a big improvement in their defense because Lawson will be back and they got Cowart. But, Auburn made improvements in their secondary, too, and if Muschamp improves the defense just a little on his own they will have a big year. They have a lot of factors going for them that says they will be a force this year.

Right. I don't think any Auburn fans are expecting an elite defense, especially in the first year. If Muschamp can get the D in the top 30, Auburn will be in the hunt.
