Most thought Mykel Jones was a can't miss prospect this time last year and that having Charlot would definitely help. The idea that the Charlot offer was solely for Jones wasn't common, but it definitely was supposed to help the cause.
There was also a chain reaction theory that I found a post alluding towards.

Well according to some, if you get Charlot, you get Mykel Jones. If you get Mykel Jones, you get Shea P. If you get Shea P, you get Devin White. And so forth.

Yea I saw that too but I wasn't trying to go back and forth so I didn't post it. I honestly didn't know about the Shae P and D. White connection though.
