I disagree. The tradition was and still is that freshmen are not allowed to walk under the arch, with the penalty of being doomed to failure to graduate. If you are not a freshmen, then you are free to walk under it.

even non-alums? So basically any ol body is allowed to other than UGA freshmen?
That kinda takes some luster out of it.
