They were. Why is that interesting to say? Only in jock culture is that some kind of disgrace. They are young kids. They'll get better. Consistency is the battle that all athletes fight. Some people call that mental weakness and others call it consistency.

They were last year. Young and immature. Who cares about an 0-17 conf team in a awful state in the midwest?
