You sure that Shea Patterson hadn't been talking with Ole Miss since his Sophomore year at Calvary? Because he has. There is a deeper connection that you just don't know about breaux.

Um...sure jackass. He was so interested in Ole Piss that his brother leaves ASU for a job with LSU and the dad starts to attach himself to the LSU program and CC. There was no scenario where LSU was dropping Franks and Shea wasn't even considering LSU with Franks in the class.

Once again you don't know the behind the scenes as well as you think you do. Find the connection and maybe you'll understand why Ole Miss doesn't mind one bit with Patterson going to IMG.

I've read plenty about his move to IMG and nothing was worded in a way that makes the father look good. The kid left his HS team hanging and his agenda was obviously more important. I'm almost convinced that the kid probably didn't want to leave but it was't his choice. If you don't have a problem with him abandoning his team, especially the seniors who were looking to make another state title run, nothing I say will convince you otherwise. It was a dick move and showed what type of "team player" he is.

To the other idiot who can't seem to comprehend that my post clearly stated that I had a problem with LSU hiring the brother, learn how to read. I acknowledged what LSU did and stated that I was pissed. That doesn't make LSU any better or worse than OM. I can't say if ASU's actions were shady because one could argue that the older brother was starting his coaching career and Jr. decided to commit to the same school. LSU luring the brother over to BR, which was followed by Jr. dumping ASU, started to look shady by LSU and the Patterson family. Sean Jr.'s next move to Ole Piss along with the commitment of Jr. removes any doubt about that family. Shea abandoned his teammates just before the start of their last high school football season. That's really all I need to know when comparing 2 HS QB's who are both Top 10 in the country.

Spin that however you homers want to. We got the kid who CC wanted and he obviously has qualities which seem to be lacking in the other. Patterson isn't from La and that fact has been stated over and over. You idiots like to ignore that fact because it makes for a better story. The La kid spurned LSU for mighty Ole Miss!

The fact is that LSU has won 2 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS and many SEC CHAMPIONSHIPS while I attended and since I graduated from LSU.

What has Ole Miss done in the last 20, 30, 40 years?? Absolutely nothing! I was just having lunch with some customers and the conversation turned to the rivalry which is developing between LSU & aTm. One of them asked which SEC school was LSU's rival prior to aTm joining the SEC. I mentioned OM, Auburn, and Bama. All 5 guys (including 1- Baylor, 1- TCU, and 3- aTm) started laughing when I mentioned Ole Miss. They also laughed after one of them looked at the series record and said that LSU can't just arbitrarily pick a "rival" because we've beaten them 11/15 years in this century.

So there you go...such a fricking joke of a football program that they wouldn't let me claim you as a rival and so irrelevant that none of them had a clue that OM was ever any good at FB. That's the reality of Ole Miss football. Irrelevant...

This is unreal... A thread named "Shea Patterson takes a shite" could get 3 or 4 pages on this board.

Which I would do in a heartbeat if I was as talented as a top tier recruit as well. For Shea high school football isn't just a good memory with his best buds that he looks back on 10 years from now. For him highschool ball is gonna be an important step in an important decision he made that helped him get to the NFL potentially.

Any kid that is that good and isn't gonna make a move to better themselves is a dumbass.
