Much better than Vaught Hemmingway. I agree. Cajun Field is a hidden southern jewel that most people overlook. Once you visit a game and get a whiff of the hard hitting atmosphere you can see why a lot of people never leave Lafayette

yeah that's definitely an exaggeration about Cajun Field. I was curious, though, and I found this possible renovation picture from 2011. No idea if this is still a plan for the future but looks pretty nice for a Sun Belt stadium. And btw, no SEC stadium is even close to as bad as Vanderbilt.

Their plans for expansion are pretty impressive. They'll be nearly doubling their capacity as well as improving several other buildings on campus including their baseball stadium.
