Now a corporate, cookie cutter venue.

I'm not getting your post...are you implying that because for the first time in a long time that Tiger Stadium looks immaculate on the outside and very, very nice on the inside...that it has lost it's "character" and now looks like every other stadium?

Then I have to inform you that you've lost it. Broken windows and chain link fences do not equal "character".

Tiger Stadium is now the best stadium in this country in which to watch a football game. Great sight lines, and plentiful exits in the stands. Which means that it's easier to both get to and leave your seat than is true anywhere else. And fans are closer to restrooms and concessions than any other stadium. So fans spend less time away from their seats than in any other stadium.

The vast majority of visiting fans to Tiger Stadium enjoy better seats than they do back in their home stadiums. Better seats, better sight lines, more amenities, and easier access to restrooms and concessions.

As far as "cookie cutter"....please enlighten me as to which stadium in this conference or around the country remotely resembles Tiger Stadium in looks...because to my mind, there is none.
