As long as ISIS exists it creates opportunities for more power grabs. It gives justification for more military spending. It gives justification for more restrictions. It keeps people in fear. It keeps the engines of the military-industrial-media complex lubed and running.
How anyone is still fooled by this nonesense is nothing less than astounding. I salute the propaganda machine a.k.a. mainstream media for a miraculous job.
Or, it may be that in 2015 an ignorant, narcissistic society is simply that easily herded.
