I'm speaking about risks that are not required, but are taken anyway.
For instance, a guy thinks he sees a roadside bomb. Instead of calling EOD, He decides to WALK UP after being told it was fricking stupid and unneeded. Leaves theater missing a foot.
Not a bit different than the drunk daredevil and even though the guy was an idiot the incident was still remorseful. Makes you more mad than anything to see someone lose life / limb for no reason.
