And from the loser's viewpoint and a cursory look at the game times, it looks like the average was about 3 1/2 hours. Even Carson Fulmer games were over 3 and he works fast. They really need to do something to speed up the game. Not sure if they pay attention to the pitch clock but something needs to happen.

Does the CWS have a pitch clock? I thought UVA's success was in part due to them being the UNC of college baseball?

there isn't a pitch clock in the CWS. That's an SEC thing. The announcers were talking about how much faster Vanderbilt worked than UVA because the ACC doesn't have one either.
