I disagree. Her decision to have police 'stand down' cost the mayor her political career. Politicians are primarily concerned with being re-elected and she won't be. FoxNews pointed out her error, CNN pointed out her error, every news source out there pointed it out, the police don't respect her and the community lost respect for her poor handling of the situation. If she could hop in a DeLorean and find a stretch of I-95 to get that boy up to 88 miles an hour, I bet she would go back and have done things differently. It was a critical mistake for her political career.
