Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia, LSU and Tennessee all have backup RB's who could easily start for any team in the country not named Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia, LSU or Tennessee. On that note which #2 or 3 RB on your team are you most excited to see?
For me I can't wait to see Keith Marshall line up on our own 20 yard line and break those long runs like he used to. I watched some of his highlight breaking Tennessee and Auburn a new one and it was pleasant sight to see. Now with almost 2 years since his injury and close to 10 pounds lighter since his injury I can't wait to see the "fastest" RB in the country frick the SEC Who U got?

Bussey is going to wreck some shite as a true freshman. Book it.

Also, while not really a RB, watch for Daylon Mack on 3rd or 4th and goal from the 1 yard line.

The best combination of speed, size and vision in the conference this year will be David Williams at SCAR ... but he's young (SO) and Wilds is in front of him at the moment.

Williams, at 6-1 224 running a legit 4.38 forty .... I dunno, we shall see how good he is this season. He shows absolute flashes of brilliance at times. He's amazingly quick and able to move laterally in a hurry for a kid his size. His problem has been that he's a little too muscle-bound and he's had an issue with hamstrings.

Kody Walker (6'2, 250lb SR)

He's not new, but he was the star of our spring game, but then JWill and Collins didn't play. He may receive much more playing time this year.

For power backs we'll finally have two decent options in Akeem Judd and Jordan Wilkins.

Jaylen Walton is back and is always dangerous as scatback to break one off. He's also a terror catching passes out of the backfield.

Eugene Brazley has also looked good to me in his limited minutes.

Of course, if our OL continues to be as terrible at run-blocking as they have been for the past 3 years then all the great backs in the world won't help us.

Guice man, Guice. I know people are enamored with Williams and he did decent as a true freshman, but Guice is on a whole nother level and he has crazy work ethic. Guy went from little less than 200lbs as a junior, to now around 215lbs and actually looks faster. Then add then fact that he catches like a WR and can run routes, hell yeah.

I'll say something around 650 rush yards and 250 receiving yards with 10 total TDs. IMO, he takes Williams spot before the Florida game.

Cam will be there waiting for him....again.

ETA...j/k...Marshall was having a beast game till that point. One of the few UGA injuries from that day that didn't come from the turf....

I think the idea that all of those teams #2 RB could start for any other team is crazy. some teams have had poor coaching and or poor OL play causing there RBs not to produce like some of the guys yours talking about. Henry Chubbs and Fournette could start on any team out side of that it's more less the persons opinion. I would take UFs RBs over Arkansas'. He'll our #1 last year had a higher YPG average in conference then either one of Arkansas' .

I think it will be interesting to see Lane and the freshmen Scarlett this year along with Taylor finally getting a chance to show what he can do. Muschamp seem to always favor Matt Jones over Taylor.
