Whenever you lose a player, it hurts, but Alabama has so many elite running backs on its roster, the Crimson Tide should be just fine in the backfield.

This statement is becoming increasingly less true.

Add Flowers ineligibility to Scarbrough's injury, Tenpenny's transfer, and Tyren Jones' dismissal and the rotation starts to look really thin actually.

Can't really afford any injuries to RBs now. Henry has had a previous injury, Drake has had a previous injury, shite. I remember in 2009 when we lost our third 3rd string RB right before the season, our starter during the Bama game, and our new starter the following game. We were down to our 4th string RB Ridley who had just come off an acl tear, or two I can't remember, and Holliday who was actually a 5'6" WR who we sometimes used in the backfield.
