Mullen would copy him but there isn't a chance in hell anyone from any other part of the country would have any interest in turning out for a Miss State football camp run by Dan Mullen.

Les Miles would be front and center if it was a camp on how to develop Quarterbacks.

By the way, Harbaugh offered a bunch of unheralded 2&3 star recruits from the southern camps, such as dytarious johnson, who accpeted the offer right away. His film is quite good, but no SEC coaches bothered to scout him. (which is stunning). Harbaugh watched him at one camp, and that was all he needed to see. His life has now completely changed.

Is that what you guys are against? Giving unheralded recruits a chance to show their potential? You guys want to keep them in the shadows so that your "territory" is protected from outside coaches.

I want all of you to go to Johnson's home, a place that is now home to a boy who will play at one of the most prestigious programs ever and receive an education that only ONE sec school can compete with, and tell his parents that you want to make the camps illegal.

It's just bizarre how you guys are complaining so much. Michigan has been holding camps all over the west coast as well. I visited one right here in Michigan viejo, California. NOT A SINGLE PAC CONFERENCE coach has bitched about it. Not one. The players that show up usually have no chance in hell of being offered by big time schools, but some are also diamonds in the rough who have been left in the shadows by incompetent scouting staffs. These camps can give these players a chance to show the coaches their potential. And, like I said, it is doing the job that incompetent scouting staffs aren't doing.

They aren't illegal. It's just bullshite and you know it.

And premier programs recruit from all over the country but they don't bitch up and plant a camp right in the middle of another conference.

I think it's natural to defend your school's position. I also think you refuse to see the other side of it.

That being said I am glad the kid will have the opportunity to freeze his balls off for 4 years

Probably because the PAC-12 doesn't restrict their coaches from setting up camps all over the country like the SEC does.

Great for the Johnson kid! Happy for him and the opportunity he has in front of him.

The WHOLE point is that Harbaugh was able to evaluate Dytarious Johnson, watch his film and watch him at one camp, converse with Johnson's parents and HS coaches, and then offer him a scholarship during a recruiting DEAD PERIOD!

frick that!

You mean Alex Smith, Tim Tebow, Cam Newton and Dak Prescott's QB Coach, Offensive Coordinator and Playcaller?

So you guys are cheering on a coach who basically just insulted an entire state of football players?

You can go after the coaches, but to bring the recruits into it is bullshite.

You should be mad at Harbaugh for doing nothing to improve the homegrown talent in the state of Michigan, which would do a lot more in improving the quality of football long term for UM and the Big Ten, instead of crying about an "insult".

Everything Mullen said was true.

This is the kind of thing a coach will bitch about when your team is currently ranked 10th out of 14 teams in conference recruiting.

Especially when your in state rival is ranked 2nd. Ouch.

They sure did. I'm a fan of Dak Prescott, but it doesn't change the fact MSU has very little momentum in recruiting.

Forgive me for digressing but you've beaten us two times since I've graduated effing high school, and that was-quite literally-half a lifetime ago for me.

Don't get too cocky, bro. Two wins in the better part of a score (in the temporal sense) does not a trend make.
