This guy knows what he's talking about.
I have bigger issues with the modified beyond recognition corn that is in almost everything. It's garbage.
Stay away from fads and "diets", don't indulge on fatty meats just because it's gluten free and you think it's all good, and overall it is very simple. BURN MORE THAN YOU CONSUME. Doh.
You gotta exercise.
Most people that fail do so BC they start out full steam ahead and try all or nothing from the get go. It's about phases and progress.

where you get in trouble is "oh no you ate white rice, you might as well be eating a candy bar you're a failure"
