In the hard drought here a few years ago we bought hay from guys who were shipping it in from up north. Paid around $75 a roll plus a flat delivery charge.
Also did not buy as much and fed more cubes and syrup

Jeez how many cattle are you talking about? Cuz 75 bucks a roll is pretty damn good price for most people even in non-drought times. You talking a mega-ranch?
