This is the absolute truth. A very small dash of filtered water( less than a table spoon) will allow the bouquet to open up and the flavors to come out with much more clarity. With that said I never order scotch and water out, only neat and I'll add the water myself from a separate water glass.

Everything the Balvenie makes is great. Start with the 12yo doublewood. Great Scotch it is.
