Macallan seems to be a common suggestion between here and other places so definitely going to add that to the list of stuff to try

Im more of a Bourbon fan myself. But i have had the Macallan 12 and enjoyed it greatly

Can't go wrong with anything by Balvenie (Doublewood, Portwood, etc) That is a single malt. The wood reference is the type of barrel it is aged in and they all impart a different flavor. They have one aged in used sherry barrels I'd like to try. I prefer the single malts to the blends.
Add a good quality cigar...Boom!
