They may have a vested interest but they need to invest some money. Until they have some skin in the game the NFL should go pound sand.

Why? It shouldn't be the NFLs job to protect CFB.

it is not like CFB is the NFL's minor league. They dont have to put money into CFB. But all the stuff they are doing about head injuries does benefit the college game as they will follow suit. I think the 8th referee started in the NFL. They give thousands of CFB players a chance to live out their dream. So they mutually benefit each other. There is plenty of money in the NCAA to spread around that the colleges should not have to beg the NFL for money.
