Eh, Stewart is a 2nd round guy and Serrano has a shot to be a high pick next year.
I do not care one bit whether we're good or not. I watched the same amount of college baseball in 01 and 05 when we made the CWS as I did this year. Only reason I watch the college game at all is to get a look at some legit prospects.
Nobody in this game outside of Killian could locate. Nobody outside of Benintendi and Stewart were a real threat to hit it out of that park. Tons of wild pitches and passed balls. Botched routine plays in the field, terrible baserunning.
The main problem for me is failure to locate for pitchers at this level. Makes it very hard to watch. At least be able to locate one pitch.
No reason at all for Tennessee's pitcher in the 9th to fall behind 3-1 with a runner on 1st and the 8 hitter up with 2 outs. Just terrible fastball command.
