We didn't lose that game because we gave up 10 points. We lost it because the line of scrimmage badly on offense.
Alabama didn't run all over us by any means as they too scored 10 points on offense. Arkansas, they weren't great. The defense is bigger and faster than last year. CJ Johnson is at MLB now and we added two really good JuCo pieces to the secondary.

I see you are basing this off of points instead of yards. You were extremely fortunate that LSU turned the ball over several times, including two times in the red zone with first down. Hell, Fournette basically had an unforced turnover after picking up a first down at the 5 yard line. We also miss a 23 yard field goal. I'm not trying to be a dick, but LSU should have honestly won that game by 15-20 points. I think they had what, 250-300 yards on the ground? Losing the turnover battle 4-1 had more to do with that being a close game than your defense.
Bama, I'm not sure about...but again you are using points. I seem to remember they were gaining big chunks of yards in the first half before for some reason changing their offense in the second half...maybe I'm wrong.
