Yeah SO just lost father to cancer about 2 years ago and now this (she was fine yesterday which is so confusing) but damn it makes it hard to comfort anyone. To make matters worse, I'm grieving myself. I loved her to pieces and she loved me too. I'm just trying to stay strong and not break down in front of the SO.

I would give almost anything to be able to provide ANY comfort and sadly I know I can't. I can only be there and take care of some of the organizing stuff.
