I'm giving you a reason why Chubb has better receiving stats. That reason is the LSU coaches didn't utilize Fournette out of the backfield very much and 7 receptions in a season proves that.
Again, who would you blame for him only having 7 receptions? It can't be him seeing as he doesn't call the plays. It could be the QB, but LSU hardly ran screens with him either.
But RB10, the team a player is on and the coaching decisions do not affect a player's performance whatsoever. It is solely on the player, as stated by UGA fans several times ITT

It is miles's fault LF didn't get more catches.
Taht doesnt' change the fact that he didn't put up the receving numbers chubb did.
Gurley was 1/1 last year passing for 50 yards. Maybe he was as good a QB as blake sims, if only he'd have gotten more chances to throw...
