IDk, probably the same reason Georgia fans have sit idly by while UGA has kept a coach who hasn't won a title with a talent filled roster and recruiting base year after year because "hes a good Christian man"
We are in mediocrity purgatory together, we might as well enjoy it.

never heard one (and that's not hyperbole, I *literally* have not heard of one single, solitary one) UGA fan use that as a reason why we should keep richt instead of firing him.
