Michigan State should be in the top 5 and it is insane that they are ranked behind USC and Baylor. There is no way that either one of those teams should be ranked ahead of them, especially Baylor.

They have some issues though. Cornerback doesn't look strong and that scheme relies heavily on cover corners. Losing Nard could be a big blow.

Also, they lost their top two runningbacks and Lippett was head and shoulders the best skill guy on the team. The have a deep stable but I don't think a playmaker has emerged. They also lose some key offensive linemen but their fanbase seems to think the unit will still be strong. However, the fanbase thinks their system is plug and play too.

What makes me worried about the trip out their is the front seven. It could be their best ever.

Baylor lost QB and practically no one else. Did you watch the Cotton bowl? the preposterous series of events that led to a one point victory in the final minute of the game merits a ranking above Baylor in the final polls of the relevant year, (which they got)

it in no way justifies ranking ahead in a projective preseason ranking. learn to college sports.
