true...because some people choose their school based on dumb shite like football...and Alabama has way more fans (sidewalk and non) in the state of Alabama, popping out even more Alabama fan children who want to go there...often because of football

A good football team is a good advertisement. Bama has good academics and a nice campus which are not hurting the surge in enrollment.
Alabama is one of the few big state schools that has grown faster than Arkansas has over the past decade.
